HireReach is pleased to offer a Community of Practice (CoP) where participating West Michigan employers will:
attend monthly four-hour training sessions, from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.;
learn from subject matter experts;
engage in interactive learning and development activities;
engage in peer to peer learning; and
access to curriculum specifically designed to support employers in the redesign of the talent acquisition process.
The CoP will have two cohorts, Cohort One beginning in January of 2019 and Cohort Two beginning in 2020. Each Cohort will contain 10-12 employers.

The purpose of preparing your organization for evidence-based selection is to build organizational commitment and mobilize the necessary people, resources, and tools for successful pilot implementation.

The purpose of grouping and analyzing jobs is to select jobs for the pilot and identify their most important competencies for job performance. This session reviews how to group jobs into job families and identify important competencies for each family.

The purpose of using talent selection tools is to measure and predict a candidate’s ability to perform a job. This session supports employers in determining which assessment tools will best measure job competencies for jobs selected for the pilot.

The purpose of aligning talent acquisition with evidence-based selection is to ensure that adequate support and accountability mechanisms are in place for successful implementation. This session supports employers in determining changes necessary for talent acquisition staffing, KPIs, policies, and procedures to align with their evidence-based selection process.
